Receiving-sets, construction of. - Moulded articles such as radio panels are provided with a surface finish by placing a surface layer of translucent material upon a layer of metallic material coated with a binding-agent placed on the outside of a body of mouldablematerial and subjecting the whole to heat and pressure. The metallic layer may consist of foil, metallic paper or paper having metals or metallic salts precipitated or deposited therein. As shown in Fig. 1, the body 1 comprises layers of fibrous material impregnated with phenolic condensation products and is combined with a metallic layer 2 and a sheet 3 of translucent material both of which are coated with the binding-agent.
