Abstract

261,875. Brown, S. G. Sept. 18, 1925. Loud-speakers. - The sound-magnifying horn of a loud-speaking telephone comprises a hollow casting 1 with diverging sides 4, the base 6 of the cabinet 7 constituting the base also of the sound passage. The smaller end of the casting has secured to it a tapering elbow 9, the other end of which carries a telephone receiver 13 detachably fixed in a split socket 10. The mouth of the horn is provided with a central panel 15 which may have a tapering rear portion 18, the panel being supported by brackets 16 set at an angle of 45‹ so as to be not easily visible from the exterior.
