Abstract

Telephone instruments and sets; mouthpieces and earpieces and attachments; supporting; wall sets.-A wal set allowing adjustments between the various elements, comprises a loud-speaking receiver 25 to which is acoustically connected an amplifying-horn 16, and a transmitter 19 connected to the outer end of the horn, the whole apparatus being rotatably and slid ably mounted as a self-contained unit upon a supporting-arm 4 which is adjustable vertically and rotatably in brackets 5. The horn is rotatably mounted in a sleeve 10 lined with felt 15, which sleeve is connected by rivets 11 to the sleeve 9 on the arm 4. A spring 27 pressing a ring 28 against the sleeve 10 always keeps the horn tightly fitted in the sleeve. The transmitter has an extension mouthpiece comprising three relatively rotatable parts 21, 22, 23.
