From the foregoing description it can be seen that an improved horn has'been pr0- vided for loud speakers of radio telephony and telegraph; receiving sets which will permit the sound waves to he admitted directly into the amplifying passageway of the horn and then admitted directly into the atmosphere.
Changes in details may be made without departing from the spirit or scope of this invention.
What I claim as new is:-
An amplifying horn for radio receiving sets comprising a substantially semi-spherical body having its outlet end disposed in a vertical plane and having its upper half an outwardly directed flange formed on the edge thereof, an inwardly extending ii 1 of arcuate form in cross section dispose in the lowerportion of the body forming in connection therewith a volute passageway, the lip having formed dire: :tly therein a telephone receiver concavity for permitting the receiver to bedisposed in a vertical plane for communication with the volute passageway, and a hollow base formed on the lower surface of the body to space the body from a support. the base having an opening therein communicating with said concavity, as and for the purpose specified.
