Sacks and the like, making.-A tube of bag making material 23 is severed into lengths 29, 30 each long enough to make two bags, and parallel seams 34, 35 are formed across each length between which a cut is made to form two bags. A number of two-bag lengths may be placed side by side and continuous parallel seams stitched across them. Reversed designs are printed on each length. Reinforcing strips 26 may be sewn across the adjacent closures, and are severed therewith. Registering marks 39, 40 may be printed on these strips, to facilitate the detection of tampering. Tool markers 43 are made by the cutting element in separating the bags. Specification 208,868 is referred to.
