Steering. balancing, and regulating altitude. - The elevator comprisss a main spar 20 carrying rigidly the two elevator planes and controlled by cables and levers 23 - - 27 entirely within the fuselage. The spar 20 is provided at the places where it passes through the fuselage with a plate 30 engaging a cover plate 28 secured to the fuselage. The rudder 14 is hinged to the fin 11 and is controlled by cables 34 and levers 33 extending from the rudder post 32 the controlling means being enclosed within the tail plane
