Transmitting-mechanism. - In a governing system particularly adapted for use with extraction or multi-stage steam turbines, two or more independent governors are provided, each. actuating the control of a servo-motor directly connected with a separate stage throttle-valve. In the case of a two-stage turbine the high pressure inlet S is controlled by a servo-motor D and the low pressure inlet X by a servo-motor E. The distributing valves of these motors are connected through a floating lever BC with a speed governor V and a low pressure governor P in communication with the inlet X. A three-armed lever may be substituted for the straight lever BC.
