Abstract
259,972. Soc. Anon. Ateliers Spiltoir, Rappez, et Hecq. Oct. 14, 1925, [Convention date]. Rolling-machines; rotary-table machines.- An automatic dough dividing machine comprises a hopper associated with a receptacle receiving dough masses divided by a cut-off valve which masses are forced thence into an auxiliary receptacle carried by a rotary table. As shown, dough passes from a hopper 2, Fig. 3, to a receptacle 3 fitted with a cut-off 4 and piston 5 connected respectively to levers 23, 22 both actuated by cams 21 on a shaft 20 against the action of counterweights 36. A rotary table 7, operated intermittently from the shaft 20 through bevel gear 26, shaft 27, crank 31, ratchet gear 33 and spur gearing 34, 35, carries cylinders 9, 10 adapted to align with the receptacle 3 and each furnished with a piston 11 controlled by an adjustable stop 14 and cam rail 15. The dough portion ejected from the lower cylinder 10 falls on to a conveyer 30, driven from the shaft 27, and is conveyed to a rolling-machine which comprises a helical trough 48, Fig. 1, surrounding a rotating drum 39 furnished at its lower end with a closed channel 46 adapted to receive the dough portions. The finished dough portions pass away through a delivery shoot 49.
