Hand-trucks. - To facilitate loading, the toepiece k which is inserted below the load l, is mounted on a frame d capable of limited longitudinal movement in relation to the truck body a. The frame d slides on cross-bars b and its movement is limited by bars e. A spring latch h is adapted to engage with a bar i on the frame d which is connected to the body a by a spring g. The sliding frame enables the load to be tilted on to the truck before being bodily lifted from the ground.
