Abstract

258,734. Buswell, C. J. Sept. 24, 1925. Holding and pick-up tools.- A bar A is provided with a row of tines B and has at each end an adjustable handle C. The handles are normally arranged to be horizontal when the tines B have been pressed upwardly into a corn shock or other article that it is desired to remove. The devices are used in pairs one on each side of the shock. In a modification two bars are connected at one end by a pivot, chain, rope, or links and the tines closed upon the mass to be removed which is then dragged away by an operator at the free end of the bars.
