163,862. Carradus, T. W., and Nield, D. March 23, 1920. Wheel, collar, and like removing tools.-A tool for removing pulleys, wheels, &c. from shafts comprises a number of arms a radiating from a central boss b to which they are pivoted in such a manner that they can be folded into a small compass for transport. A screw c passes through the boss b and bears against the shaft from which the pulley is to be removed, the rear end of the pulley being engaged by hooks g on chains f which are attached to one or other of a series of notches a<1> in the arms a according to the diameter of the pulley. For dealing with pulleys of different widths, the chains f may be so formed that any of the links can be threaded on the arms a. The arms a may be detachable from the boss b.
