257,355. K³htz, F. June 5, 1925. Bakers' ovens.-In a " travelling " oven which can be divided by movable partitions e<1> - - e<4> into a number of separate chambers or compartments, the baking-plates on the conveyer are arranged in spaced sets of length equal to, or a sub-multiple of, the lengths the chambers, so that all the partitions will register simultaneously with the spaces between the groups of baking-plates. The partitions may be made in two parts e<3>, e<33>, which move in opposite directions. In the oven shown steam is supplied to the two end chambers through pipes h, i and exhausted through valvecontrolled ducts g, j.
