Abstract

257,041. Herbert, Kershaw, & Co., Ltd., and Timmins, W. S. June 4, 1925. Clip brackets; stair-rod eyes.-In a stair-rod eye of the kind comprising an L-shaped main member 1 with a pivoted or otherwise movable rod retaining member 4 and a U-shaped locking member 6, the locking member is formed with a pressed out projection 12 to engage a recess in the free end of the member 4 formed by pressing out a projection 10 which engages a hole 9 in the member 1. The member 6 may be pivoted to the member 4 and adapted to embrace the main member. The pivot pin 3 for the retaining member 4 is mounted upon the main member 1 by passing it under a pressed out strip portion 2. The device may be used for supporting a curtain rod.
