Producers. - A grateless water-jacket gasproducer furnace adaptable for use as a gas-producer comprises a fuel conduit 3 terminating in a curved cinder-box 7 closed by a door (not shown). Air is delivered into the conduit 3 through the channel 9 and above the fuel surface through the passage 6 which is eliminated when the furnace is used as a gas-producer.
