Abstract

255,280. Dehn, F. B., (De Long Hook & Eye Co.). Oct. 9, 1925. Presser-feel.-A duplex presserfoot having adjustable work-engaging surfaces comprises front and rear plates 15, 16 spaced apart by bosses 17 and having secured between them by screws passing through slots 27, angular bars 20, 21 which pivotally carry the shoes 22. The plate 16 has a rear extension 30 for attachment to the presser-bar. A central shoe 32 depends from the front plate 15. Work-guides. - The presser-foot may be employed in the attachment of tape in conjunction with a guide comprising upper and lower plates 10, 10<a> spaced apart by inner pairs of bars 11. 12 and outer bars 12e, all laterally adjustable by screws and slots and serving to locate tape guiding plates 12<g>. Openings 13 are provided for the feed-dogs which co. operate with the presser-foot.
