Folding-devices.-A folder is mounted on a support which may be attached to the work-plate of a machine at either side of the longitudinal axis of the folder. The folder 1 which is shaped to turn-in the sides of a strip to form a pleat is provided with a central slot 3 for facilitating insertion of a strip and has a reversible guide bracket 11 having a slot 12 and an inclined rib 13. The folder has an integral sleeve 14 which is clamped upon an arm 20 projecting from a plate 15 which may be adjustably secured on either side of the stitch line. In a modification, Fig. 4 the folder has projecting supporting brackets 29 which are secured to a plate 27 reversibly and adjustably secured to the work-plate. Specification 273,979, is referred to.
