Pneumatic separating. - In installations for the pneumatic removal of the fine products obtained by crushing, the regulation of the fineness is adjusted whilst maintaining a constant output of air. In combination with the dust removing vessel of the apparatus is provided a truncated receiver A having a duct situated on the axis a, b, formed of telescopic parts, the lower one B<1> having several openings C the object being to adjust the position of the part B<1> in relation to the receiver A so that a variation in speed of the air may be effected. The adjustment may be made by screwed rods E as shown or by toothed racks. In a modification a lantern arrangement might be used which would allow, by rotation of the telescopic tube B of the uncovering at any level of an opening provided on an inner tube.
