Abstract

Heating-arrangements ; printing-surfaces.-The pressing-plates 6 - - 9 of a press more particularly for the production of printing-plates of plastic material are connected by telescopic joints with the pipes supplying heating or cooling media, so that they can be withdrawn by means of the chain arrangement without interruption of the supply. The supply pipes 18 may be fixed and pass through stuffing-boxes into holes in the plates 6 - - 9, or may be fixed to the plates and pass through stuffing-boxes into fixed chambers behind the press.
