Abstract

250,190. Kustner, A., and Recordon, E. April 3, 1925, [Convention date]. Skates.-In a skate having two rollers, the rear roller g is smaller than the front roller f and is carried by a fork i mounted on a pivot k on the sole-plate a. Means may be provided to retain the fork in normal position when the skate is travelling in a straight line; thus a spring- pressed plunger q engages a notch formed by two inclined surfaces o, p on the fork, and screws z may be provided to limit the movement of the fork or lock it in normal position. The rollers and the pivot may be provided with ball bearings, the rollers may have concave peripheries, and the length of the skate may be adjustable.
