500,514. Roller skates. MEISTER, G. April 26, 1938, No. 12444. Convention date, Aug. 17, 1937. [Class 132 (i)] In a roller skate the pivotal axis D of the axle fork A of each roller H passes through the lowest part of a bearing surface B<1> secured at an angle to the main body C of the skate, the movement of the axle fork being resiliently limited laterally, and rollers W being provided between the bearing surface of the axle fork and the bearing surface B<1>. The resilient control for the axle fork comprises cushions of indiarubber or metallic springs disposed on on each side of the axle fork and bearing on flanges BI on the supporting bracket B.
