Abstract

249,023. Wade, H., (W-H Keyless Lock Co., Ltd.). Sept. 14, 1925. Locks, permutation, are provided with coaxial discs carrying notched annular flanges and a member separate from the axis of the discs but sliding parallel thereto and having disc-engaging projections within the limits of its body. The discs may have guard-flanges to prevent picking. The discs 30 are mounted on an axis 29 and carry flanges 37 each provided with a notch 40 for co-operation with the projections 41 on the sliding member 42 which is operated by the cam 48 and pin 51. A flange 53, Fig. 6, may be carried by the discs to prevent picking by feeling for the notches 40. Notches may be made in the flanges 53 for passage of projections such as 41, to increase the complexity of the lock.
