Abstract

351,049. Night latches. DUNAGEN LOCK CO., Ltd., 6, Lloyds Avenue, London, and BARNES, J. A., 6, Thames Street, Hampton, Middlesex. March 20, 1930, No. 8953. [Class 44.] A latch cover comprises an angle shaped member one arm of which is apertured to pass the bolt and the other is provided with a cap to conceal the operating knob. The cap may be slidable to accommodate different locks or be fixed. The cap 2 shown in the Figure is slotted to engage the arm 1 which is strengthened by flanges 5. A chain 6 connects the cap 2 to the cover a ring 7 being provided to support the device when not in use. In a modification the cap slides on prongs which form one arm of the cover.
