Abstract

255,258. Wade, H., (WÀH Keyless Lock Co., Ltd.). Sept. 14, 1925. Locks, permutation; hasp locks.-Separatelyset coaxial locking-rings are mounted on a lockcontrolling member provided with false-notches to prevent picking. The rings 16 have each a lug 23 engaging an annular recess 20 in the lockcontrolling member 18. A second recess 21 may be provided for each lug to enable the member to be locked in both extreme positions. When the lugs 23 are set in alignment with the groove 22, the member can be shot or retracted by the knob 27 by means of the disc 28 and pin 30. False notches 40 prevent picking by feeling. The member 18 may form the bolt of the lock or may have attached thereto a bolt to lock into the eye of a hasp.
