Abstract

Thrashing-machines. - A thrashing and husking machine comprises a grid beater 1, straw shaker 2, grain and chaff collecting trough 3, and sievebox 4, from which the corn passes to a milling device 10 consisting of a beater with counter-beater of steel wire cloth. A fan 5 is provided with two nozzles 7 and 9 directing blasts of air to the trough 3 and hopper 12. The corn then passes to a further cleaning-box 13 and rotary sieve 14.
