Abstract
244,350. Naamlooze Vennootschap Philips' Gloeilampenfabrieken. March 25, 1925, [Convention date]. R÷ntgen-ray tubes.-The operating circuit of a R÷ntgen-ray tube comprises a coil 11 wound on the tube and electrically connected to the cathode and anticathode. The invention is described as applied to a R÷ntgen-ray tube of the kind described in Specification 208,108. The coil 11 may form the secondary of a transformer of which an outer coil 12 forms the primary. For low frequency currents, an iron core may be placed in a caviy on the anticahode or in the interior of the anticathode tube along the axis of the winding.
