243,100. Wagenhorst, J. H. Sept. 4, 1924. Detachable - rim attachments to wheels.- Clamps B for in attaclting a tyre carrying rim A to a wheel are formed with one, or more lugs B<1> which are passed through apertures in the rim base, then split as at B<2>, and riveted over, preferably into a groove or recessed portions of the rim. In the form shown, the clamp is slotted between the lugs B<1> to receive a depressed portion or bead on the rim. In a modification, the clamp is formed with a sunk portion for the same purpose. Specification 242,695 is referred to.
