Rotary batch-mixers. -In a mixing or kneading machine of the kind in which rotating beaters work in a rotating pan, the beaters c, d are mounted in a plane which is tangential to the conical surface developed by the bent part b of the beater shaft. The beaters at the upper part of their path lie in a plane parallel to and above the upper edge of the pan, thus enabling the latter to be removed. The beater c is further from the end of the shaft b than the beater d and its path lies further from the pan bottom.
