Abstract

241,845. Pianta, F. July 13, 1925. Pinless and like hinges comprise a plate 1 secured to the door and provided with an arm 4 slidable in a pair of detachable guide members 8 secured to the plate 2 which is attached to the door post, the arm 4 having curved grooves or ridges on its upper and lower faces for engagement with similarly-shaped projections or grooves 9 on the arms 8. The arms 8 have right-angled lugs 6 which engage in recesses in the plate 2, to which they are secured by screws 7. A double hinge is also described, in which movable members with curved ribs carried by detachable members are adapted to engage and slide over each end of a double arm formed with grooved parallel faces.
