241,691. Underfeed Stoker Co., Ltd., and Wood, W. R.. Sept. 26, 1924. Arrangements of superheating tubes in boiler furnaces.-The inclined base 7 of a powdered fuel combustion chamber is cooled by superheater tubes 11 in communication with the steam space of the boiler B. Preferably the tubes 11 are provided with overlapping fins 18 forming a continuous surface which may, however, be formed by grooved metallic blocks closely fitting the tubes. In a modification the tubes are extended upwards along the vertical walls of the combustion chamber.
