Abstract

241,553. Munday, J. L. Oct. 16, 1924, [Convention date]. Laminated springs. - An undulated spring plate 8 is interposed between the upper groups of spring plates 1, 2 and the lower group 3, 4, 5. The master leaf 1 is fitted at the ends with pins 14, 15 which work in longitudinal slots in the upper leaf 2, in the lower leaf 3 and in the ends of the plate 8. The centres of the upper and lower groups are connected by a bolt 9 and lateral movement is restrained by clips 10. The whole of the spring may be enclosed in a sheath of leather or the like.
