Laminated springs. - A laminated spring is formed from a single plate bent alternately in opposite directions as shown in Fig. 1, or from a number of leaves joined together in pairs at their ends, as shown in Fig. 7. The connecting bolts i may be replaced by pivoted eye joints. Eyes may be formed at the ends and provided with shackles and plates to hold the leaves together and increase friction.
