Articles to be displayed, rotating and oscillating supports for; actuating. - In advertising devices of the type. comprising a pillar or base upon which is pivotally mounted a rod or other means bearing advertising matter, counterpoises g are carried bv arms f whose point of attachment e to the rod a is vertically adjustable in relation to the package or other advertising matter j. Stiffeners h keep the arms f apart. The device may be oscillated or rotated by air currents, produced by fans &c. or by a lamp &c. arranged with the package j, the convection current acting on vanes on the package. The lamp may be lit by electricity conducted through the pivot bearing c and through a wire dragged along a metallic race.
