Abstract

241,055. Laughton, G. A. Dec. 30, 1924. Coat and like hangers.-A coat hanger comprises two arms b, c pivotally connected by a hollow rivet f so as to be foldable into overlapping relation. Holes g in the arm c, Fig. 4, house balls h which bear against a washer a interposed between the arms. The washer a has diametrically opposite notches or grooves into which the balls h can snap to lock the arms in the extended or the folded position. The suspension hook is cranked at l, Fig. 1, and its end m passes through the rivet f, so that the hook can be laid flat on the arms by passing the part l through the rivet.
