Abstract

599,535. Garment hangers. HAFFNER, L. Sept. 26, 1945, No. 24997. [Class 52(v)] In a coat hanger of the kind comprising a central part having collapsable side arms hinged to the central part and adapted to fold into the central part when collapsed the supporting hook d is hinged to the central part so that it can be folded against the side thereof. The side arms are, as shown, composed of sections e-h hinged together but in a modification the sections may comprise tubular telescopic parts. The central part a is comprised of plates spaced apart so as to house the side arms when collapsed. Specification 130,826, [Class 141], is referred to.
