Abstract

Flow meters, pressureactuated.-In apparatus for measuring fluid flow and/or indicating failure or abnormal increase of flow, and comprising a single vane a, Figs. 2 and 4, deflected' by the flow against the action of a spring or weight, one side of the vane chamber is constituted by a plate j pressed against a shoulder by a spring k. The spindle is packed by a washer t against which a spindle shoulder is thrust by a spring u and ball w, or washers are provided at both ends, a compression spring being then disposed between a shoulder on the spindle and a loose sleeve bearing on one washer, a deflector f of spring metal embraces the boss of the vane, and the radial clearance of the vane varies with the angular position.
