Abstract

239,290. Newbery, F. W., and Mann &. Co., Ltd., G. June 6, 1924. Abrading medium, article moved in, through, or similarly in contact with.-Lithographic printing plates B are grained by marbles in a box A, mounted on supports C and given a horizontal rotary motion by two eccentrics driven from a power shaft, and at the end of the operation the marbles are expelled from a side door by the cyclic motion of the box. A trough K sloping towards the door L surrounds the gear surface N on which the plate is secured. A number of doors may be fitted.
