237,775. Cousins, F. Nov. 10, 1924. Multiple fastenings; sliding bolts.-A fastening device for doors of refrigerating plant &c. comprises a bolt or bolts E<2> connected to a disc E rotated by a handle C or M. The disc E carries cam surfaces engaging cam surfaces on a fixed disc I, so that rotation of the disc E causes it to move inwards and forces the ends E<4> of the bolts tightly against bearing plates K on the door frame drawing the door in. A similar arrangement of bolts may be provided on the front of the door to aid in releasing it if it should stick.
