Each pedal crank D<1> is formed with an open boss D with an annular groove and rotates upon three spaced rollers P<1> mounted on pins P which are carried by lugs A<6>, A', A<8> formed within an opening in a supporting plate A, one lug A<8> being formed with a slot to permit of adjustment of the pin. Plates A on each side of the bicycle frame are formed with external arms or lugs A<1>, A<2>, A<3>, A<4> and are secured in spaced relation by bolts or stays C in conjunction with collars A<5> secured to the. frame B. The pedal spindles E, passing through the elongated slots J<1> in the main cranks J, are provided with hardened bushes M and ball thrust washers N.
