Abstract

237,208. Pintsch Akt.-Ges., J. July 16, 1924, [Convention date]. Fluid-actuated valves.-A valve device arranged to close with rush of fluid and particularly adapted for use in connection with gas containers on railway vehicles is housed entirely within the container. The ball valve t is held in position by a perforated cage k and co-operates with a seat l on a tubular part s screwed completely onto a socket m. This socket is secured to the container a by a Range b and nut c and also by hard soldering. The ball is removed from its seat by screwing down the stop valve n causing a thin spindle x to engage the ball.
