Abstract

236,508. Akt.-Ges. f³r Anilin-Fabrikation. July 1, 1924, [Convention date]. Addition to 231,413. Photo-mechanical printing-surfaces; chromogelatine processes. - The process of the parent Specification is modified by using a more or less hardened colloid, and increasing the temperatures of the drying and washing operations correspondingly. By slightly varying the temperature of the washing water a finer or coarser grain is obtained. In the example given, a gelatine layer having a melting point of about 50‹ C., and dried at about 45‹ C., when treated with washing water at 30‹ C. gives a pronounced grain, and with water at 25‹ C. a fine grain.
