Incandescent vapour burners; vaporizing- apparatus.-In an incandescent vapour lamp, the liquid fuel contained in a pressure reservoir p forming the base of the lamp passes through a tube f arranged in an upstanding hollow column s to a fuel feeding and vaporizing tube A which comprises a lower portion a<1> arranged axially in respect to the reservoir, a bent portion a<2>, an upper offset portion a<3> parallel to the lower portion a' and a coiled portion a<4> terminating in a nipple d, the portions. a<2>, a<3> being arranged close t'o and substantially following the contour of the mantle g. The vapour issues from the nipple d into a U-shaped mixing tube k<1>, k<2> which passes through the chimney o and carries the mantle g. The chimney o, a slotted casing t, and a shadecanopy n are carried by a lyre-shaped support m extending upwardly from the top s<1> of the column s. A spirit cup f is attached t'o the lower portion a<1> of the tube a for starting purposes.
