Abstract

204,822. Jenkinson, A. P. Aug. 3, 1922. Vaporizing-apparatus; oil reservoirs, supporting.- A blow lamp comprises two cylindrical reservoirs a, b containing wicks e, e' and connected together by a clip c, Fig. 2, so as to be relatively adjustable. The wick e<1> extends into a bent jet tube f attached to or formed in one with the reservoir b. The flame from the wick e vaporizes the spirit in the jet tube f and ignites the vapour as it issues through the nozzle f<1>. The reservoirs a, b are fitted at their lower ends with removable screw filling caps d', d<2>. The upper end of the reservoir a and the nozzle f<1> are fitted with removable screw caps d, g. An arched foot or support h may be secured to one of the caps d<1>, d<2> so as to serve as a stand.
