Abstract
230,645. Williams, R. A. April 1, 1924. No Patent granted (Seating fee not paid). Ball and roller bearings.-Each end of the hollow spindle f of a conveyer, elevator or creeper roller is formed with slots g in order to permit expansion when the tapered supporting members h, k are inserted. The member k is held in position by nuts l. Each end of the roller is closed by a member b in which is fitted tightly the outer member of a ball or roller race c. A spring e bearing against the race c maintains a felt washer d in position against the end of the member b. A press-button or other lubricator m is provided at each end.
