The end of the radius rod 2 is enlarged at 4 and provided with a channel 6 to take the axle 7. The perch 13 is provided with a spring hanger 14 and an enlarged lower end 10 having a similar channel to take over the axle, and the axle, radius rod and perch are clamped together by a bolt 11 with conical end 12.
