Arrangements of hand and foot actuated gear for operating brakes.-In a trailer vehicle having the body supported by a ball-joint on the tractor and by a two-wheeled turntable the brakes are applied from the tractor by disconnectable cables passing round guide pulleys concentric with the ball-joint and the turntable. When the trailer is disconnected from the tractor the brakes may be applied by a hand lever on the trailer acting on the cables.
