Roller-blinds.-A brake for window blinds comprises a U-shaped spring metal shoe the sides f of which bear on the blind-operating cord g. The shoe is prevented from turning by an attached ring f<2> engaging a pin e<2> on the usual end bracket e. The sides f may be curved and provided with terminal coils f<1>. These may be made narrower than the sides f and adjustably connected by a cord or elastic ring.
