434,859. Flexible gas-connections. BROSTROM, F. V., 16, Feltham Avenue, East Molesey, Surrey, and DOHM, S. A., 3, Gressenhall Road, Wandsworth, London. Nov. 28, 1934, No. 34198. [Class 99 (ii)] A flexible gas-connection 1, e.g. a rubber tube, for a laundry iron 3 is prevented from kinking and also maintained clear of a table 7 by a helical spring 8 which loosely fits the exterior surface of the connection and is adapted to coil the connection into a helix of small pitch, Fig. 3, or a flat spiral, Fig. 5, when the connection is slackened by movement of the iron towards the gas-supply standard 2. Fig. 7 shows a modification in which the connection is permitted to hang in a loop over the edge of the table.
