Extincteurs. - A fireextinguisher is provided within the casing with a gas vent on the discharge pipe c extending from the base to the discharge nozzle, this vent being closed, when the extinguisher is brought into use, by a valve operating under the action of gravity. As shown, the vent d is fitted with a ball valve a, and the valve casing b has a flap valve f which also allows of the extinguisher being inverted for charging without leakage through the vent.
