222,234. Morris, J. July 6, 1923. Extincteurs.-A foam fire-extinguisher, operating by inversion, comprises an inner vessel closed by a valve on the end of a hollow stem forming the discharge passage. The stem moves longitudinally in the extinguisher cover and may screw therein or it may slide under spring pressure and be held either by a pin e fitting in a bayonet slot in a bush d or by a pin or catch passing through the bush d. When the pir is released the spring d<2> raises the valve.
