Centrifugal-action lubricating. - In means for lubricating engine crank-pins comprising a channelled metal plate d secured to the crank web a, the rim of the plate being eccentric to the crank shaft but the inner edge of the flange d' being concentric, the flange d<1> extends only around a portion of the rim. Oil supplied to the channel, as through a pipe e, is delivered centrifugally to a passage c in the crank pin b through an opening d<2> formed in the plate at the point where the channel is deepest.
